Nombeko Amboni Sibongile

Amboni was out of our girl Bakima and CH Rolling's Jungle Baloo and was born as very first female in our kennel.

Soon she let us know that she would stay with us.

As a young dog, she was very active, keeping us all busy. Especially Moyo had to play with her for endless hours.
She had calmed down considerably when she matured. She was a real cuddle bug and loved to cuddle endlessly in the morning before we got up. Everytime we were out and about, she perfectly knew how to behave.

Amboni had the most beautiful feminine head and expression. Her body was substancial and harmonic with moderate angulation. She raised two litters without any problems and we are more than pleased with the development of her kids. Her daughter Patani is part of our family.

Amboni's sire comes from Rollings kennels, ridgebacks of distinction since 1959 and nowadays the oldest active kennel in the US. Rolling's ridgebacks have been influencing the breed all over Northern America and helped in founding many of today's kennels.

Amboni had passed the breed approval test of our club with flying colors. Judge Martin Klopsch wrote at the breed approval test (10-22-2006):
"correctly built bitch, plenty of substance, with excellent proportions (height-length-ratio), calm and friendly temperament."
